Ingredients:

1kg chicken wings
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Vegetable oil, for frying
Killer Condiments Blood Orange Hot Sauce
2 shallots, diced (for garnish)
Lime wedges (for garnish)

Serving Size: This recipe serves 4-6 people as an appetiser or snack.

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine the salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and flour. Mix well.
  3. Pat dry the chicken wings using paper towels to remove any excess moisture. Place the wings in a large bowl.
  4. Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the chicken wings, tossing and coating them thoroughly.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or fryer to about 175°C.
  6. Carefully place the seasoned chicken wings into the hot oil, working in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan. Fry the wings for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove them from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  7. Transfer the fried chicken wings to the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 74°C.
  8. In a large mixing bowl, add the cooked chicken wings and generously drizzle Killer Condiments Blood Orange Hot Sauce over them. Toss the wings to coat them evenly in the sauce.
  9. Transfer the hot chicken wings to a serving platter. Garnish with diced shallots and lime wedges.
  10. Serve the Hot Chicken Wings immediately, accompanied by extra Blood Orange Hot Sauce on the side for dipping, if desired. Enjoy the spicy, tangy, and flavorful wings with the refreshing touch of lime and shallots!

Note: Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper in the seasoning mixture to achieve your desired level of spiciness. You can also increase or decrease the amount of Blood Orange Hot Sauce based on your preference for heat.

It's dangerously good!
